Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II of Jordan and Princess Rajwa Hussein have welcomed their first daughter.
According to international media, the Royal Hashemite Court announced that the royal couple’s newborn daughter has been named Iman. On this joyous occasion, sincere congratulations and best wishes are being extended to King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah.
It has been reported that both the King and Queen of Jordan expressed their happiness at becoming grandparents for the first time. King Abdullah II stated, “Thanks be to God, who has blessed us with our first granddaughter, Iman, the daughter of Hussein. I congratulate Hussein and dear Rajwa on the birth of their daughter. I pray to Allah that she grows up well and that He protects her parents. Little princess, you have brightened our family.”
Similarly, Queen Rania said in a statement, “Thank you, Allah, for the greatest gifts. You have brightened our lives with our precious granddaughter Iman. May God protect you for us. Congratulations to Hussein and Rajwa; may God fill your lives with blessings and contentment.”
It is reported that Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II of Jordan was married on June 1st of last year, with several global figures, including the First Lady of the United States, attending the wedding. The celebrations lasted several days, and a seven-day nationwide celebration was held. The main wedding ceremony was attended by prominent figures from 70 countries, including guests from Arab and friendly nations.
