Iran May Attack Israel Today, Claims U.S. Media

According to international media reports, three American and Israeli officials have suggested that Iran could potentially launch an attack on Israel today.

This speculation comes in the wake of recent incidents involving the deaths of senior Hamas and Hezbollah leaders. In response to the possible threat from Iran, General Michael Kurilla of the U.S. Central Command recently visited Israel.

The American news website Axios reported, based on information from two U.S. officials, that General Kurilla’s visit to Israel is seen as a strategic move amid escalating tensions between Iran and Hezbollah.

The purpose of General Kurilla’s visit, according to the report, was to rally international and regional allies and to ensure Israel’s defense, as was done during the Iranian attack on April 13.

The report further indicated that three American and Israeli officials believe there is a strong possibility of an Iranian attack on Israel today.

It is worth noting that Iranian and Hezbollah leaders have vowed to avenge the killings of Hezbollah’s senior military commander, Fouad Shukr, and Hamas’s political leader, Ismail Haniyeh
