After a promising opening day, ticket sales for Madgaon Express increased significantly on the first Saturday. According to a Sacnilk reporting, on the second day, the directorial debut of Kunal Kemmu raked in ₹3 crore at the domestic box office, doubling its collection from the opening day. In total, the comedy-drama grossed ₹4.5 crore in two days. Madgaon Express revolves around a trip to Goa taken by three childhood friends. Everything is going well until things take an unexpected turn. The film stars Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu and Avinash Tiwary in lead roles. The film was backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment.

On Saturday, Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh ​​posted a note on X (formerly known as Twitter) to share the opening day box office report of Madgaon Express. In a NDTV Reviewfilm critic Saibal Chatterjee said Madgaon Express a solid 3 out of 5 star rating.
