Agent – Bears to sign RB D'Andre Swift to 3-year, $24.5 million contract

THE Chicago Bear give a helping hand By André Swift a three-year, $24.5 million contract, including $15.3 million guaranteed, agent Trevon Smith of Athletes First told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.

THE Philadelphia Eagles acquired Swift from Detroit Lions last April for a 2025 fourth-round pick and a seventh-round pick swap, marking a homecoming for the Philadelphia native. Swift, 25, posted career highs in rushing attempts (229) and yards (1,049) en route to his first Pro Bowl appearance.

He has remained largely healthy despite the increased workload, playing in 16 regular season games – a personal best since joining the league in 2020.

As his rushing numbers skyrocketed, his receiving stats (39 catches, 214 yards) declined as the passing attack was focused on receivers. AJ Brown And DeVonta Smith and tight end Dallas Goedert.

Still, he was one of six running backs with at least 1,000 rushing yards and 35 receptions.

A second-round pick out of Georgia, Swift has 2,729 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns over four seasons, with 1,412 yards and eight scores through the air.
